# FEMA approves $55 million for Florida recovery and resilience projects

The Federal Emergency Management Agency approved nearly **$55 million** in grants to help Florida recover from past storms and strengthen communities against future disasters.

- More than **$30 million** will support Public Assistance projects.

- **St. Petersburg:** $1.4 million to reimburse emergency response costs following Hurricane Milton.
